Disabling system sound while retaining notification haptics.

I had previously set my phone up so that my system alerts sound was set off (no keyboard noise and haptic notifications only, but all notifications still went through). After a recent update (a week or two ago), I no longer get any notifications. Calls go straight to voicemail and texts don't appear. I'm sure there's a simple solution hidden somewhere in settings, but I have yet to find it. I have silent mode turned on and no daytime focus modes, which is what I've always had. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Contact your Carrier. They provide you with the services of Cellular, Voicemail, and Messaging.

Report this to Apple:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue. Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread
