Apple Pencil will no longer connect with my iPad Pro

I’ve started to drawing with my Apple Pencil as I do everyday but it would draw. I charger it on the magnetic side of the iPad, assuming I didn’t place it properly and it must’ve died. Nothing. Went to Bluetooth settings and clicked it but it said not connected. Placed it on the magnetic side again and the Apple Pencil icon showed up but didn’t show the battery percentage. I’ve tried resetting it, updating my iPad, shutting it off, restarting, nothing. I even tapped forget device in Bluetooth settings but now the Apple Pencil name won’t show up.
