Tansferring Media, Restrictions and Settings, WiFi Passwords etc To A New iPhone

I damaged my exisiting phone and the new one's arriving tonight. The old phone is somewhat usable.

I would like to transfer all the information from my old phone to the new one but Media, Restrictions, Settings and WiFi Passwords are the most important. Which process offers a better chance at succeeding, Quick Start or Wired Connection.

Or would making an "encrypted" iTunes backup of the damaged phone and restoring from this backup onto the new phone be a safer bet at ensuring at least the Media, Restrictions, Settings and WiFi Passwords move over.

Also, I'm on campus and left my Mac at home so, I'll be using my Windows machine to do this. This will also be the first time I will be making a backup on a Windows machine, which is a 5Ghz i9 processor with 64G of 5600 MT/s DDR5 RAM and two internal 4Tb SSDs.

My guess is that the iTunes way might be faster and more reliable but if the "wired connection" way above would be just as reliable (albeit a little slower) I would rather do that as I don't want my windows laptop to have the iphone stuff on it.

Thank you!

I don't believe that purchased music will transfer.

If you purchased music from the iTunes Store, you can re-download it directly on the new phone. If you purchased it elsewhere (e.g., on CD), you'll need to synchronize the new phone with the computer that has the master iTunes / Music library, loading the new phone using music that is on the computer.

Your photos and videos should transfer one way or another.

If you were using iCloud Photos, I don’t know if Quick Start would copy all of the photos and videos … or if it would simply set up your new phone to sync with, and get them from, iCloud.

If you were not using iCloud Photos, I presume that Quick Start would be forced to copy all of them directly.
