iCloud keeps wanting me to sync and I don't want to!

I have a new Mac studio M4 and the only thing I use iCloud for is find my Mac. Several times that I rebooted my computer and it started syncing my data which I don't want, and everything is turned off except Find my Mac and it's still saying that some of my data needs to be synced. How do I stop this? It's driving me crazy I don't want anything to do with iCloud. I don't want to back up any of my data on iCloud. Someone please help me get rid of this problem.
