How do I disable 'Train Crossing is Ahead' Siri notification while driving?

Are you using Apple Maps? Or are you using Waze? As best I can tell, Maps has no such feature.
If you're using Waze, try this: navigate to Search > Settings > Map Display > Reports > Railroad crossing and deselect "Alert me while driving".

My understanding is the Federal Railroad Administration is working with Apple, Google and other navigation services to alert motorists of hazardous crossings. The warnings are using past history of accidents, passive or active crossings protections, traffic conditions and presence of high speed passenger service etc. to determine whether verbal warnings are necessary.
Ah, you beat me to it! I wasn't able to find anything about this. But I agree it's a good thing.
Are you saying that you are getting that warning when there is no nearby train crossing?
Is this part of iOS 18.4?
I don’t remember this “feature” previously.
Are you running beta software? Are you using your vehicles nav system?

Currently it’s not something that can be disabled and some states are considering mandating it, because of recent increases in fatalities at crossings.
Florida started about 2 years ago high speed rail (Brightline) from Miami, up east coast to Orlando Airport and Disney. They’re working on extending it to Tampa, then maybe across the bay to Clearwater Beach.
Currently the number of fatalities is just over 50. People walking and driving just aren’t used to seeing trains at that high a speed.

I remember taking a train to Florida once and going through one of those towns in the Carolinas, I think, where the train tracks ran down the middle of Main Street. Most of the trains near me have tracks that you have to work at to get to. And pedestrians still get killed.

Not running any apps. Not even in the background.
So, you’re not using Apple Maps or another other navigation service and your iPhone just wakes up and says there’s a railroad crossing? Is that correct?
Yes. That is correct.

Do you have a “telematic” application on your phone that monitors your driving, either from an insurance company, AAA or AARP?
