How do I turn off random animations with sounds on my Apple Watch?

Why are there so many random animations with all kinds of different ring sounds on my iwatch with absolutely no explanation as to their purpose or function?

I know a few are related to Activity, but several have popped up lately with beautiful graphics and new ring sounds, but they are becoming so common and interruptive. I can’t find any explanations for them or find out how to turn them all off.:
