Best practices for battery health Macbook Pro M4 Max

Hello! I have the MacBook Pro with the M4 Max chip and I was wondering what the best thing to do for the battery would be in terms of charging - should I leave it plugged in to the wall ALL the time? (even overnight) Is that bad for the battery health? I do have the optimized battery charging option enabled!

Thank you! Would leaving it plugged in overnight all the time be ok? I’ve seen mixed responses where some people said that leaving it plugged in overnight after shutting it down hurt the battery life :/ And others say that it’s best for the MacBook to always be connected to the wall power.

Yes.

Where are you seeing these "mixed responses"? I'm quite sure that on this site, everyone is going to say the same thing - let Apple manage the battery. You will not be able to do a better job of that than the people who made it.

Ignore anything you see elsewhere on the internet.
