iPhone loses internet access in lock screen (both wi-fi and cellular)

For the past few days, my iPhone 11 is not getting any notifications from WhatsApp. I realized that it's not only WhatsApp but also all the other connected apps - e.g. it's not getting messages and calls from Telegram, Facebook Messenger & message notifications from Instagram.

First, I thought it could be related to Wi-Fi. I did the following:

Forget the home network and re-connected

• Connected to the lower frequency (2.4 GHz) wi-fi

• Reset the network settings

• Controlled app updates in the background --> turned on for all the apps

• Went through notification settings all of the apps mentioned above, all of them are open.

None of the steps worked at all. Then, I switched off wi-fi & turned on the cellular connection (5G). It is still the same- whenever it's locked, my phone is not accessible at all.

Calls are not reaching, messages are not landing (single tick), notifications aren't dropping.

I checked the web for alternative solutions but I couldn't find any solution.

Do you have any idea? How can I solve this?

That would be an issue with your cellular data, once your is lock it is no longer connected to wifi.
