Mouse pointer disappears when crossing displays

Running Sequoia, Mac Studio. Mouse cursor will often, but not always, vanish and not reappear when crossing between two Mac displays. Shaking the mouse can make it reappear, but extremely annoying. Tried it with displays as separate workspaces and without. It seems random, but is frequent. Does not matter if mouse moved slowly or quickly. Used to work 100% on my old 2013 MacPro.

Often when it does reappear it is nowhere near the edge of the monitor. So it is moving but not displaying. This really breaks my concentration.....

Displays are physically connected and "side by side".

If the effective resolution of both displays different it may create a "gap" between displays where they will disappear. Look at the arrangement in the settings, and make sure both graphical representations of both displays are exactly the same size, and are touching each other on the System Settings. If they aren't, you'll notice this gap even more. If the resolutions different you may find it works better to use a slightly lower resolution to match resolutions of both displays. EasyRes is an App on the App store that makes it easier to control all resolutions.
