mac mini warranty support non existent?
So I went to do an erase all content and settings on my 2024 Mac mini M4. I have done this before with no problems but apparently this time something got messed up because when it went to reboot for the first time, nothing would come up on the screen and it would be stuck in a reboot loop three or four times before flashing the amber SOS. Looking it up this is a firmware failure according to Apple in order to fix it requires another Mac, which I do not have. So I contacted Apple support twice via iMessage and their best option was for me to travel 3 1/2 hours away to try and get it fixed at an authorized service center. I was under the impression I had Mail in warranty service but after calling and speaking with tech-support, I was pretty much told that because this is a software issue my computer is bricked. Does anybody have any idea what I can do to get my computer fixed as I still have a warranty on it?
