You Tube not working properly in Safari on MacBook Pro

Several features in You Tube don't work when I'm using Safari on my MacBook Pro. These include; the top-left hamburger dropdown, the top-right account settings, the share button for each video, and other things.

I have tried; clearing history, rebooting, and deleting all cookies. You Tube is not in Content Blockers.

IOS is Ventura 13.7

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 13.7

Since Safari is updated only when macOS is your Ventura version may be out of date. There is no standalone Safari updater so you might want to consider moving to a different browser like Firefox, Edge, Chrome, Brave, etc.

I could not reproduce your issues on my macOS 15.4 Sequoia and Safari 18.4. But I do still get occasional messages from YouTube saying my browser is insecure or outdated. That’s definitely Google trying to push me to Chrome. I wouldn’t be surprised if Google is behind your problems at least in part.
