The keyboard backlight does not work.

The keyboard backlight does not work. The auto-brightness of the display and keyboard is gone in the settings. The keys on the touchbar do not change the brightness of the keyboard. When I try to change the brightness through the panel, the slider returns to 0, but the brightness itself does not change.

What have I tried?

- closing the sensor;

- updating the system (updated to the latest);

Any ideas?

MacBook Pro 13 A 1989 (touchbar)

MacOS 15.3.2 (24D81)

P.S. the caps lock light works :)))

MacBook Pro (2017 – 2020)

If this is an Intel Mac you can try —

resetting the System Management Controller Reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support

no resolve—

Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM Reset NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support
