I have recently updated ios version to latest 18.4 in my iphone 15. Since then my battery backup has degraded so much so that the phone ja not going 1 full day. Also the phone is having network issue and hence is getting severly hot while doung simple tasks like taking calls.
Please check and fix this asap. I think the jssue is ocurring for all the devices.

After an update, your iPhone must complete post-update background tasks. This is mainly creating and sorting a searchable database of your data. You can experience an increased battery drain and thermal temperatures from this. Give it a few days and when the tasks are complete your iPhone’s conditions will return to normal.
Also if you are having network issues this most certainly cause an increased battery drain. The reason being is because when your iPhone is not connected it will always continue to try to connect to a network. This uses full power and uses lots of energy. If you are ever in an area with low to no coverage, consider turning on Airplane Mode or turning off Cellular. But if you are in an area with coverage and you aren’t getting a connection, consider contacting your carrier for help.

Having network issue will cause battery issue, as your phone will keep trying to connect to a stronger cellular connection.
No one on a user-to-user site will know anything about what Apple might do or when they might do something.
Battery backup also ho down and network issue also

Network is something you pay your cellular provider on a monthly basis to use.
