M4 MAC Mini Issues with MAC OS Sequoia 15.4 Upgrade

Upgraded M4 Mac Mini, which was currently it MAC OS Sequoia 15.3.2 to  Sequoia 15.4, I lost my monitor’s ability (Samsung G9 57” Neo) to scan at 120 Hz (working fine at 15.3.2) and now will only scan up to 60 Hz. Nothing else changed other than the MAC OS upgrade. How can I back-level the MAC OS Sequoia from 15.4 back to 15.3.2 . Please advise.

Sometimes my resolution switches to 5120x1440 instead of the resolution I previously used: 7680x2160. Before the upgrade to 15.4 never had that problem. Also the monitor is on the latest bios so that's not the problem. And even so, before 15.4 it all worked perfectly. I have a Mac Mini M4 Pro. Also When I try to switch between the resolution list and the icons (to select more text etc). That does not work.

I also noticed a display related change going from 15.3.2 to 15.4 on my Mac mini M4 Pro.

I can no longer choose ”Variable 48-240 Hz” on the display I have. It maxes out at ”Variable 48-165 Hz”.

Not a biggie in my case, but of course I'd like to have it back to were it was. :)

I've been in contact with apple and this is a bug which is on their radar. No timelines, but they assured me a patch is coming. In the mean while i've got a workaround.

Start the mac in safe mode (yeah i was sceptic too when they suggested it, but it worked), switch to the correct resolution and or refresh rate and restart. It works for me. But I've got no idea if it will for you.
