"How to add apps to the MacBook Air Home Screen permanently in Guest User: Hi All, I am trying to set up the Guest User on a MacBook Air so that apps and weblinks can be featured permanently on the Home Screen (Desktop) for easier access. Currently the apps delete the shortcut added to the Home Screen after logging out and I can't find the full answer online. If anyone knows of a way to do that it would be really appreciated. Thank you"

Keeping Folder As a Guest User:
The only way I can see doing this is by permitting the Guest User to connect to shared folders. But, the would permit read abilities --not permanent write abilities. So, report back if it works...
- Go to: Apple meu
- Select: System Settings
- Select: Users & Groups
- Click: the encircled "i" to the far right of Guest User
- Toggle On: Allow guest users to connect to shared folders
- Use: Your credentials
- Restart: your Mac
- Log In: as the Guest User
