How to get support from Georgia (country) about unknown transactions?

I've got something like $50 taken from my card by apple. I do not have iPhone or iPad, nor I believe my card should be connected to any apple account.

I did look for support, but I am directed to https://getsupport.apple.com/ which allow me to get a refund for an app or cancel subscriptions (but my last purchase was in 2010, when I had something from apple).

I can't call them (there is no phone number for Georgia). I've seen some posts about the chat in iMessage, and we have a MacBook in our household, but I can't find how to start the chat with the support. There is not email or anything too. Only way to contact that I've found is a sign language interpreter, but it seems unethical to use it.

I want to provide my transaction details and at least try to find out which apple account have those purchases, or better - cancel them. Plz help

The bank approved the charges. Apple will verify activity on your account, but not someone else’s account. That information is private. Apple has no way to determine who the actual card owner is. Banks verify that information, not Apple. If the purchase is approved by the bank, Apple can’t cancel a transaction. If you want a transaction (purchase) canceled the bank must do it. If it is fraud, the banks fraud department or local law enforcement can contact Apple.

Apple does not have email support or chat in Georgia. You can try this link for phone support, but it may be by region and involve charges.

First you might want to see if you can regonize the charges, see if you can do that this why from Georgia:

  1. To see your purchase history, go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
  2. Sign in with your Apple Account.
  3. A list of purchases appears. To see family members' purchases, select the Apple Account button and choose a family member.
  4. To see the full receipt including tax, tap or click the date. Multiple purchases, including subscriptions, might be grouped onto one charge.

If the charge is for a subscription that you no longer want, you can cancel the subscription. Find out where else you can view your Purchase History.

Apple Support has no way to verify you and know that you are not a scammer. Your local law enforcement can request assistance from Apple.

Report the fraud to the bank that issued your credit card and file a report with your local law enforcement.

If you do not see the purchase in your account history, then that means your card has been compromised and you will need to contact the bank that issued the card. For some reason the bank approved a purchase that was not made by you and that will need to be disputed. Additional steps will be needed if your account details have been exposed to another person.

Are those answers mean "There is no way to contact apple support"?

Obviously, I've contacted the bank, my card is now blocked and stuff.

But:

  1. My bank asked me to contact the apple, to cancel those purchases.
  2. Apple should get the information, that they have an account of a potential scammer/criminal/fisher with my card connected to it.
  3. I would like to get a better understanding of how that was possible.

Please, try to help me contact apple support. If there is no way to do it (other than the sign language interpreter) - then tell me that.

Please, believe me, I made all the sensible actions that I should.

What do you mean?

They do not need to verify me. They need to get transaction details from me - that I think are suspicious and look by themselves on the account that made them. They almost certainly will be able to tell - if that is a scam or not. And probably will be able to make a decision to cancel the purchases.

The one hurdle is - I can't connect to support in any ethical way.

And I am so surprised that there are 4 people that are trying to help me, but they don't answer two simple questions:

  • is there a way to contact apple support via chat/email/phone or other means (besides sign language interpreter) from Georgia?
  • If there is - how can I do that?

The rest of my story was just for context. It could be replaced by "I want to report a possible fraud to apple. How to?"

Maybe I wasn't clear. I did that. The last purchase there is dated 18 dec 2010. I didn't have this card then even.

I didn't enter my current card details to my account at all (as far as I can recall) since I don't use apple devices or software.

Before you ask that I need to consult my family members - I did that too.

In our household (and even my parents) - we have two apple products - macbook and macmini. I don't see any purchases, subscriptions or even my card details anywhere.

I have transaction details from my bank, and I need to contact the support, since I am being charged wrongly.

Thank you for the answer. There is in fact no way to contact apple. (I find it quite odd, but it is what it is).

Btw, I understand that they can't tell me, which account made purchases, since they don't know me, but they certainly can look in to it. I think that if account is scaming me, I am not the only one. And in that case, apple can cancel not only my transaction, but maybe someone else too. They definitely have the means to do it.

Your welcome.

The means does not give them the right. Apple has terms and conditions guaranteeing privacy, within the limitations of the country or region services are provided. Even the agreement with payment network operators (Visa, Mastercard etc.) to accept their cards has limitations to what a merchant can and cannot do.

I know it doesn’t make sense, but this is currently the way it works. You just need to trust the bank will do what they are responsible for doing and your local law enforcement will pursue the matter.
