Best way to transfer photos from Samsung to Mac?

Usually the Built in Image Capture or Photos App should be able to access the phone when connected over USB and transfer the files.

I used OpenMTP for a long time, but it started crashing on me. Just found MacDroid recently and I’m really happy with it so far.

It lets you transfer files over both Wi-Fi and USB, which is super convenient.

I'm also a photographer and have tons of high-quality photos and videos. Cloud services don't really work for me because I upload stuff too often and the file sizes are huge. I've been trying to find a good way to transfer everything, but honestly, I haven't found any reliable software that works well yet. It's been a real pain.

Google Photos is another option.

I feel like using Google drive is just so simple.
