Error while updating to Sequoia 15.4 from Sonoma on MacBook Air M1 A2337

I tried to install Sequoia from USB and it didn't work.

And I tried to install the update three times with the same result - error.

I also tried to download and install Sequoia from the AppStore, but again I get an error.

Gotcha. If you must have Sequoia on the system, then your best bet is to install a later version (15.3.2). I was able to update a client yesterday successfully who was in the same boat as you. Just run the terminal command below to fetch the installer. If the command works successfully, the installer will be available in your Applications folder for manual launch.

softwareupdate --fetch-full-installer --full-installer-version 15.3.2

Join the club. I'm assuming you're attempting to update from 15.3.2? Resource thread started by KirillRP

It seems the only way to get your device updated to 15.4 is to erase your mac and reinstall Sequoia from recovery OR Restoring your device via Apple Configurator (DFU mode). There's a 15.5 Beta version available if that's of any interest.

Good morning, ren1018. The only way you'll be able to get 15.4 on the device is if you Restore via DFU mode utilizing the Apple Configurator 2 application on another compatible mac. A restore as you may already know wipes the device, so make sure to backup your data is you go this route. Otherwise, wait it out for the next incremental.
