We are researching if it possible to have users use their personal IDs on managed devices so that can access personal apps and data while still maintaining corporate control over the phone and work data. We are in the process of locking down our corporate devices and are trying to limit the impact on our end users. Thank you.
That's going to depend somewhat on what MDM you're using and whether the devices are "Supervised", not just managed.
If they are not supervised devices, I would not allow it.
We are moving to InTune for a MDM solution. We are considering putting new/replaced corporate phones to "Supervised" mode however trying to determine the implications for the end users who were previously allowed personal accounts on their devices, for several years, to better determine a strategy. Also, in the process, we are looking to lock down use of their corporate email addresses to be used as managed accounts only and as such we are reviewing the same implications for our end users.
