Hi could someone help me? i cant open any file on my laptop, in finder its show 'waiting for update' for each file. even another file that doesnt have that 'waiting for update' too. this chaos happened after i update the system to sequia 15.4
when i click the file, then it loading for a long time but still dont show anything. also my mac become slower. it keep loading everytime i open a file or upload file. thanks

what happens if you wait for the file(s) to finish downloading(?)

Do you have iCloud Drive enabled?
If you do do you also have Desktop and Doucments folder enabled?
If you do that may be where the insufficient space is coming from: your iCloud Drive space. Unless you've paid for more space the size it is only 5 GB.
You can check it in System Settings/Apple Account/iCloud.

I would sign in on line through a browser and see if this makes a difference's for accessing your Mac setting ...
up date or verify your login there and compare your results.
Ignore the "Available" storage value as it is extremely misleading. You need to look at the Free storage space value that unfortunately is only shown with Disk Utility and the System profiler. Free space is not synonymous with Available space within macOS.
Running out of Free storage space can cause all sorts of issues with macOS including not being able to delete any files due to how the APFS file system works.
