Show as: Busy/Free option disappeared from Calendar

It used to be that there was a 'Show as' category in the details of an event in Calendar on Mac OS and iOS so you could choose 'Free'/'Busy'. But that option has disappeared (maybe since Catalina, judging by my searching on the community forums).

Before the 'Show As' option disappeared, I found that all-day events defaulted to 'Free' while timed events defaulted to 'Busy'.

Now that the 'Show As' option has disappeared, those defaults still seem to be in place.

This is awkward when syncing my Apple Calendar calendars with other meeting planning sites (e.g. Calendly.com, Doodle, com, etc.). It means that if I have an all-day event in my Apple Calendar, I will still appear to be available when someone is trying to book a meeting with me in Calendly or Doodle. This has meant several instances where I then am double booked, which is awkward and unprofessional.

For a while the feature was still available on iOS after it had been removed from MacOS. But now it seems to have disappeared from both.

I filled in a feature request via the Apple feedback form:

Feedback - Calendar - Apple

If you have found this to be an issue, please consider filling in the feedback form above. Perhaps this will persuade the Apple Calendar developers to bring back the feature.

I have since discovered that my Apple WatchOS 11.3.1 still has the 'Show As' option! This seems strange to me. I'm glad it is still available somewhere, but it is awkward going through all my all-day events in Calendar on my Apple Watch to change the Show As settings. Much better if it was still available in MacOS too.
