Can't see text of a sent iMessage on iPhone
I am trying to understand what happened to a message that I sent to two cell phones of colleagues. I recall writing carefully to give enough detail for them to understand the issue without compromising related privacy. I just got asked again whether there was any progress, and I am looking back at my messages list on the iPhone and I see that it correctly identifies the 2 people that I sent the message to, when I click on that, the recipients are at the top, it says iMessage and the date/time....but I do not see any message: the rest of the screen is blank.
If I failed to send the message, I do not think I should have a message identified as the recipients in my message list. If I accidentally deleted the text before clicking send and thus sent a blank message, should not I see a bubble without text?
Is there any way to retrieve that message and see what I actually sent at that time?
There is nothing on the deleted messages page.
And since I was asking these people for a favor, I am reluctant to keep messaging them with the same message, so I'd like to understand what was sent.
