iPad Air 11in M3 not working with Pencil Pro
Hi,
I just purchased a brand new iPad Air 11inch M3 running iOS 18.4 and pro pencil. The Find My feature on the pencil does not work, it does not show the pencil but when I try to manually add it, it says the pencil is already added. I went as far as buying a secondary pencil but the issue persists. I have done the following
- 3-4x : unpaired pencil, reset all settings on iPad then repaired both in settings and in Find My app
- 2x : unpaired pencil, erase all contents and settings on iPad, set up as a new iPad no data transferred over
- 3x : reset waiting for apple logo then re-pair pencil after waiting 20 seconds to turn on
its surely not the pencils, that’d be pretty uncommon for two brand new out of the box pencils to have the same issue. Any guidance?
