Is hand discomfort common with iPhone 15 Pro Max users?

I have iPhone 15 pro max. I use my left hand to hold my phone & text with my index finger of my right hand. Recently noticed the fingers & sometimes my palm of my left hand have a burning sensation.

I purchased a radiation strip for iPhones off Amazon with decent reviews, but it does not work.

my phone does not feel overheated, but there is a burning sensation on my left hand as as I hold the iPhone.

is this common only to th 15 Pro Max? I never had this burning with past iPhones!

"Radiation strips" are a scam. iPhones don't emit any kind of ionizing radiation. Putting on such a strip may, however, interfere with the cellular signal, making the phone work hard to connect and causing it to get hotter and drain the battery faster.

You should consult your doctor. You may have some type of repetitive stress injury.

What was your prior iPhone? Are you using a case? Some cases are made of or contain known allergens. The iPhone 15 Pro models have a stainless steel frame. Stainless steel contains nickel, a known allergen. In fact it’s a common allergen that is estimated to affect as many as 20% of the population.

The last reasonably sized iPhone was the iPhone 4s. Considering that all iPhones after it are undersized tablets, hand pain is likely to occur.

That's a very good point.

I find the non-Max phones to be a reasonable size, but my hands aren't small. I can well imagine someone with small hands trying to use a very large phone one-handed might have a number of issues.
