Unable to make or receive calls on iPhone

Husband and I both have iPhones and for the last couple of weeks, we have been unable to make a call out or take a call without the call either being dropped or the caller not being able to hear us. We can hear them fine. It does not matter where we are, so service is not an issue. Has anyone ever experienced an issue like this? I have the 18.4 update and hubby has 18.3 but ready for 18.4. HELPPPP PLEASE!! I’ve contacted my cell company and we tried a lot of different things, including removing the SIM card and putting it back in. Again, HELP lol. Thanks so much!!

Denise ~ Your post's tagline indicates iPhone 13 Pro. Does your husband have a different model?...

Settings > General > About > Model Name

Your iPhone 13 Pro could be 3½ years old — which is when a battery can become weak due to age and recharging cycles. The aging battery may then be too weak to supply sufficient power to the iPhone's antenna to maintain the connection with cell tower signals. So...

Does your iPhone 13 Pro still have its original battery?

And what's the Maximum Capacity % here?...

Settings > Battery > Battery Health & Charging
