can i use my 30W macbook adapter to charge my Iphone 16? is it safe?

Sure.


You could use a 100W power supply or higher if you wanted. The phone will only draw as much current as it needs to charge normally.

Unfortunately, you received the wrong information from Apple "staff". They should have known better. More training needed.


Once again.......the phone will only draw as much current as it needs. Another way to say the same thing.......the phone controls the charging.......not the power adapter.


It is impossible to overcharge the phone. Apple "staff" was making things up.
