Unfortunately, you received the wrong information from Apple "staff". They should have known better. More training needed.
Once again.......the phone will only draw as much current as it needs. Another way to say the same thing.......the phone controls the charging.......not the power adapter.
It is impossible to overcharge the phone. Apple "staff" was making things up.

im a bit worried cause the apple staff told me that it should be 20W charging adapter and using macbook adapter with 30W could cause overheat and problem with battery health..wdyt about this?
