What do you advise me to set the optimized recharge or limit it to 80-85%?
Frankly, it does not matter. You do know that even if you set a Charge Limit of 80% or 85% or 95%......the battery will still charge to 100% occasionally, correct?
When I tried Charge Limits, I found that the battery was still charging to 100% 2 or 3 times a month. Some users report even more frequency while some report less. The point is.....if you use Charge Limits, you cannot prevent the battery from charging to 100% unless you are watching the battery charge every minute. Who has the time to do this?
Somehow, Apple and iPhone users got by just fine for 15+ years without Charge Limits at all. Like some of the other posts that you have seen, I also think that the limits are much more of a gimmick.....(to sell more phones).....than anything else.
If Charge Limits were really important, Apple would offer this option for every model of iPhone. They don't do this of course.
Yes, you might get a month or two more use from your battery, but after 3-4 years of use, does this really matter? I am happy to give up a few months of battery use in return or starting every day with the battery at 100%.
With Charge Limits, you obviously will have to charge the battery more often......that's more wear and tear on the battery.....which the Charge Limit crowd does not want to talk about.
My advice......use Optimized Battery Charging and connect the phone to the power supply at night and leave it connected all night.....every night. I got well over 5 years of use on my iPhone doing this.
