How can I copy a file from my MacBook Air to iPhone 16 Plus connecting through data cable?

Want to copy files from macbook to iphone. Both are connected through datacable

Another way to do it, if both devices use the same Apple ID, is to copy files to iCloud Drive. Once the Mac uploads a file to iCloud Drive, the iPhone will be able to see the file using the Files app.
