Mac Studio focus switching issue while typing - V2

As I'm typing this the focus will switch away from this app (browser or any other app) while I'm typing. it doesn't switch to any particular app just not this app so I can't keep typing without clicking on the app again to regain focus.

I've tried closing all apps and it still occurs. Restarting is the only fix. It could be specific to this Mac Studio as I haven't had the issue on my MacBook Pro or Mac Mini.

It will randomly start happening, like this morning, and is now switching focus away about every 10 seconds.

When the focus switches, it does stay on the app I'm working with. For example Chrome, when the focus switches I see in the upper left that Chrome is still in focus but the window I'm working on is not in focus.

Or while I'm in Adobe Premiere, the window focus basically turn off. Normally there is a blue line around the window that is in focus in Premiere, then this happens the blue line goes away and no window is actually in focus.

On Sequoia 15.4 and a few versions earlier but I can't remember when it started, at least 15.2

Give this a try: boot into Safe Mode according to How to use safe mode on your Mac and test to see if the problem persists. Reboot normally and test again.

NOTE 1: Safe Mode boot can take up to 3 - 5 minutes as it's doing the following;

Verifies your startup disk and attempts to repair directory issues, if needed

• Loads only required kernel extensions (prevents 3rd party kernel/extensions from loading)

• Prevents Startup Items and Login Items from opening automatically

• Disables user-installed fonts

Deletes font caches, kernel cache, and other system cache files

NOTE 2: if you have a wireless keyboard with rechargeable batteries connect it with its charging cable before booting into Safe Mode. This makes it act as a wired keyboard as will insure a successful boot into Safe Mode.

I'm not touching any keys when it happens. It's happening again right now.

For example this text box I'm typing in here on the support forum has a blue line around it when I'm typing in it (has focus) however, randomly whether I'm typing or not touching the keyboard the focus will shift away so I have to click in the box again to regain focus to continue typing.
