I've had a 2020 MacBook Pro M1 for a year now. No previous issues, I got home from work last night and noticed my Mac had a charging icon on the battery when my laptop wasn't charging. I was confused so I plugged the charger in and the icon stayed the same. My Mac ended up dying and now it won't turn on. Just shows me the charging icon when I power it on

It may be a moot point but I'm curious how you have had that M1 Mac for only a year when those models were discontinued over two years ago, at least. If it is Apple Refurbished, is its warranty still in effect? Find out here: Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support
