How do I fix missing JPG preview thumbnails on my Mac running macOS Sequoia 15.4?

I can't preview the icons for some images, mostly JPG. It's not every JPG, only ones downloaded from the internet, I believe. It's a small issue but affects my workflow and would love to resolve it. I've tried as many solutions as the internet has provided.
