The word "this" is a pronoun, and, intros case, it is referring to the old iPhone. You are performing QuickStart here. Bluetooth can only so unto 30 feet away. If you lost the connection, then not all items get transferred, and as a result, it may not work 100% as it did afterwards. So, keep it close by, to keep a successfully transfer.
