How do I fix "Unable to verify account name or password" on my Mac?

Unable to verify account name or password this shows on my screen. I don’t know. Which password is not matched

Mac password is incorrect (but it is) In settings, I asked to "Update apple id setting". And to do so, I was first asked to enter an apple account password. I did it correctly. But after it asked me to enter my mac password, I tried a few times, but it didn't work. I also tried to copy-paste it, still didn't. When I tried to login into mac, I easily entered the correct one. So the password is correct. What to do?

It might be the iCloud account ,have you signed in the iCloud in the device or not?
