How do I address a compromised Apple Account and sporadic no-ring issue on my iPhone 16?

I recently have had my identity ambushed with mail, phone, and most importantly my finances. With that said my phone starting doing very strange things such as a (no ring) phone connection which by fate I saw the connection light suddenly appear! Looking at the phone applet it showed a phone# Connected. Apple Tech was stumped and to boot my Apple account was compromised to the extreme such that the Apple Tech replaced ID and Gmail it was attached to. He could not unlock the Apple Account.

so here is my question … should I take the i16 to the Apple Techs directly or just delete/refresh to factory settings?

My phone continues to go straight to VM with no ring sporadically.

thoughts?

If you think your Apple Account has been compromised - Apple Support

As for going straight to voicemail, check your focus settings and check Settings>Apps>Phone>Silence Unknown Callers.

If you're getting voicemail messages and the call does not appear in the recent call log as a missed call, you may have been out of your carrier's coverage area or in a 'dead spot' where coverage was so poor the call could not reach your phone.
