Why am I unable to wake my iPhone by touching the screen?

When i touch the screen nothing turn on but i have to turn on with the side button

Hello, first, tap settings > accessibility > and check if the "Tap to wake" option in this section is turned on.

(There is a language difference in the screenshot.)

Do you have Tap to Wake turned on in Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Tap or Swipe to Wake
