Is it normal for Apple to ship from third-party vendors?

I recently ordered a new (not refurbished) MacBook Pro.

I just received an email announcing this shipment is on it's way, but it's not being shopped from Apple, it's being shipped from QMH COMPUTER CO. LTD in Vietnam.

Is this the usual way Apple ships? I just thought it's odd that Apple isn't shipping my new MacBook.

Thanks in advance.

Apple is huge, there are many subcontractors that work in conjunction, manufacturing, locations, delivery methods can vary yes.

Apple ships over 57,000 units a day.

Not to mention— inventory has been routed to side step recent and pending tarrifs accordingly across the globe.

Apple is a large company, and they are also a large Target.

They try to keep a low profile, in every way they can.

They try to disguise what is is in the box and for whom products are services are being handled.

There are also rumors that some portion of Mac computer production and some portion of iPhone production have been relocated to different countries to avoid unreasonable trade barriers.

if you are expecting a shipment from Apple, and a company in the Far East or India spontaneously says your package is on its way to you, you can freely trust that there is no deception intended.
