Actual insertion/removal reminders for Nuvaring in Apple Health

I use Apple Health to track all of my medication. I’ve been trying to use it for my nuvaring too, but it’s not working correctly.

I have it set up on the schedule of take for three weeks, off for one week. I wish I could only mark it as “taken” on the week I actually insert, rather than marking it as taken for every week, but this is the best I can seemingly do on Apple Health.

The problem is that it does NOT remind me to remove it on this cyclical schedule. I should’ve removed it days ago and I had no idea because it didn’t alert me.

I literally just want it to remind me when to insert it on week 1, and then remove it after week 3, and then when to insert it again. I really don’t want to have to use a different app when all my other medications are on Apple Health. It’s like it’s trying to be set up for this, but it’s not actually working.
