Why am I being asked to subscribe when my Apple TV free trial is still active?

I have a free trial of Apple TV with my new iPhone 16pro that expires May 27. But when I try to watch a program it says I have to subscribe for $9.99 a month starting today. That’s not a free trial

Dark Winds is not Apple TV+ content. You would need to subscribe to AMC+ to watch the episodes.

I got a 3 month free trial with my iphone 16pro of Apple TV. When I go to my android TV to watch Dark Winds it says I need to subscribe for $9.99 per month if I try to access from Apple TV, having signed in with my Apple password. If I try to access it from Amazon prime it wants $6.99 per month subscription. Yet I get emails on my iphone saying the new episode of Dark Winds is available for streaming.(for free). This has happened several weeks now. Each time I have to call apple support to see it. Free subscription expires May 27th
