Dark Winds is not Apple TV+ content. You would need to subscribe to AMC+ to watch the episodes.

That would be the case if you have previously redeemed a free trial or if you are not logged in using the same Apple ID.
On which device did you redeem the offer and did you see the trial end date?
On which device are you seeing a new request to subscribe?
I got a 3 month free trial with my iphone 16pro of Apple TV. When I go to my android TV to watch Dark Winds it says I need to subscribe for $9.99 per month if I try to access from Apple TV, having signed in with my Apple password. If I try to access it from Amazon prime it wants $6.99 per month subscription. Yet I get emails on my iphone saying the new episode of Dark Winds is available for streaming.(for free). This has happened several weeks now. Each time I have to call apple support to see it. Free subscription expires May 27th
