how do I record audio CD from Mac

Dear all

I have a bunch of music files on the Mac, live recordings of concerts by our choir. These are .wav files all recorded by a pro sound engineer and are at least "CD quality" or better. But we have lost the originals.

How can I burn new audio CDs for choir members? Output from Audacity to CD burner produces Mac playable disc but what I want to create are regular audio CDs that can play in audio systems not computers.

What hardware and software? We don't want hundreds so going to a commercial production co would not cost justify.

We own all rights to performances and recordings so no issues there.

TIA

Ken

Ken,

You can use the Mac Music app. On the computer where the WAV files reside, add them to your Music library, create a playlist, and then burn to CD per these instructions: Create CDs and DVDs in Music on Mac - Apple Support (ME)

If it will be used in a regular CD player, choose audio CD.
