How do I fix Messages not syncing or sending from Mac after resetting Apple ID passwords?

I've tried logging in/out, restart, checked all the settings so my apple id can receive messages with my phone number originating conversations. I'm not sure whats wrong with it.

iMessage Issue on Macbook I recently updated all of my apple devices, iPhone (IOS 17.3), iPad (17.3), and Macbook (Sonoma 14.3) and am having trouble sending and receiving messages on my MacBook. When I open messages, it says "Waiting for iCloud: iMessage will not be available until your Apple ID settings finish updating. You may miss messages as a result." I had contact key verification on so I turned it off hoping that it would fix the issue but it did not. I restarted my Mac and went through all of my iCloud and message settings and can't figure out how to fix the issue any help would be appreciated. Clarification: only having this issue on my MacBook.

Help with iMessage issue Within the past week, Apple required me to change my password, which I did. I then went through all my devices (iMac, MBP, iPhone, iPad), and entered iCloud using the new password. But as of right now, when I text with iMessage on my iMac, the text isn't showing up in my iOS devices, and when I text with iMessage on my iOS devices, it's not showing up on my OS devices. I've gone through and tried to make sure Messages is on with all the devices. Any suggestions?
