Charged $79.99 for a Subscription I Didn't Want, Refund Denied Twice
Hi everyone,
I’m really hoping someone here can help or offer some advice.
I was recently charged $79.99 for a subscription I didn’t want, didn’t use, and never intended to keep. The same day I was charged, I reported the issue and requested a cancellation and refund. I acted immediately, thinking the issue would be resolved quickly.
Unfortunately, my refund request was denied. I appealed again, explaining the situation more clearly, but that second request was also denied. I then called Apple Support and spoke with a representative, hoping to get more information or help. But I was told that the decision had already been made by Apple, and there was nothing she could do. When I asked for more details or a reason for the denial, she couldn’t provide any answers.
This has been really frustrating and stressful. $79.99 is a lot of money for me, and it’s disheartening to be charged for something I never used—especially after taking immediate action. I’ve always trusted Apple to be fair in these situations, so this experience has been really disappointing.
Has anyone dealt with something like this before? Is there any way to escalate this or get more clarity?
Thanks in advance for any help or advice.
