When I connect my mac book to my iPhone as a hotspot, i see many warning that battery is low, while iPhone battery is fully charged, also i see EDGE signal on the mac while I am on 4G. below screen shots from MacBook Pro & iPhone, this time, the battery is okay, but different signals..

is the battery low(?) if not I would spend much time on the glitch.
There are other ways to check your battery level if that is the issue
