Why can't I save any files on my MacBook Pro after restoring them?

I mistakenly erased all of my recent files not realizing they were the only copy. I have brought them back in but now I can' save anything, even a new file. I get the message below. When I go to finder it shows that I have read and write permission on the file. This is happening with all of my files, not just a particular type.

"mistakenly erased all of my recent files" from where exactly?

" brought them back" from where exactly?

Are you saying all files in your User/Home folder is corrupt in the same manner?
