Recently upgraded IOS and now watch will not last a full day without charging. Upgraded from Apple Watch 8 to Apple Watch 9. Watch is maybe a year old, and battery life is terrible. My next fitness watch purchashe will be a Garmin.

BTW standard Watch 9 battery life is stated as 18 hours, not 2-3 days.

What you tried the phone and the watch in factory reset conditions, ie the ultimate test? That was fast.
