CODI Webcam not recognized neither video nor audio

I'm using a Mac G5 Pro running 10.14.6. The CODI webcam that I was using is no longer recognized, even though the red light on the camera is lit. It is plugged into the USB port, but neither Zoom nor FaceTime recognize it. In my System Preferences (under Privacy) no apps show when I click on "Camera" at all. Zoom will show under "Microphone", but in the Sound Prefs (Input) pane only "Line In" or "Digital In" are listed, not USB.

I haven't used this device since upgrading to 10.14.6, but didn't have these issues before.

try testing it using another computer mac or windows or the likes

could be the cam is dead, it's not uncommon to still work ½way in terms of such leds and the likes

Turns out the camera is kaput, although it wasn't used a lot. I guess they're not very well made.

A replacement that CODi sent me seems to be working just fine, so at least they will stand behind the product.

FYI: These are the screens that show what I've found. Perhaps there's a clue here.
