Can a MagSafe case ruin the magnets in my iPhone 16e?

I have a iphone 16e with qi charging. I did not realize it did not have MagSafe charging, assuming all new iPhones would have it. So I used a magsafe case. Now my phone will not attach to a wireless charger even without the case on! Can a MagSafe case ruin the magnets in the phone?!
