I just got a new apple pencil and a refurbished 6th gen ipad. The pencil isnt working on this ipad or another one I have. Ive re screwed the tip, restarted the ipad, turned blue tooth off and on, still nothing. It says its connected it just doesnt work.

Am wondering which pencil model you have.
