So I went on the document for QuickTime Player but there was a problem it says "The document could not be opened." The file isn't compatible with Quicktime Player. So How to fix that?

Or, you can check the movie codec with MediaInfo or Invisor and find out what movie codec detail there is that QuickTime Player does not support. And optionally fix that with 3rd party tools like Handbrake, Shutter Encoder or ffmpeg.
