This morning i got a text claiming I owe $143.95. I check my apple account the last thing I bout was a music on my iTunes account. I tried to call apple but I was disconnected. does anyone have some advice?

That is a very prevalent scam. Let me guess, it also stated that you recently purchased something at an Apple Store in CA and you used "Apple Pay Pre Authorization" to pay? That isn't even a thing. Simply delete and ignore the scam message.

Just googling "$143.95" brings up this very common scam. The message you got did not come from Apple. In the future, never call a number from a message/email. Just by doing that, it lets the scammer know that you are susceptible to believing what they say and you will receive many more spam messages. In the worst case, they will get you to provide them with personal information that will compromise your account.
