Trying to sync music from a MBP late 2015 to an iphone 16 pro, using a usb to usb c cable i had, and is not showing at all
Any ideas?

Make sure that you are not using a charging-only cable. Some cables only have the pins for 5V power and ground connected. They don't transfer data at all, so if you connect an iPhone to a Mac using one of them, the Phone will charge off the Mac, but neither the Mac nor the iPhone will know that the other is there.

Try another usb cable or port
Can you see the iPhone on your Mac?
not at all.. not on finder or music
